JAKARTA (Reuters) - Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves rose in September by about $2.1 billion to a record of $146.9 billion, boosted by the proceeds of the government's global bond sale, the central bank said on Thursday.

The September reserves were equivalent to 8.9 months of imports, Bank Indonesia said.
