Can i apply a new NON-O visa outside my own country using https://tp.consular.go.th/ ?

Featured Replies

I am considering not to go back to the Netherlands but instead to Vietnam
From here (vietnam) i will start with a fresh new NON-O marry visa..........is this possible?
or must you obtain a NON-O marry visa from your home country
Also (if possible)
Must i apply the visa in person at the Thai embassy in Hanoi or through the new website (https://tp.consular.go.th/)

Thank you

Enter Thailand visa-exempt. Then convert to Non-O.

I did that a few months ago. Not a big deal.

Previously the Thai embassy and the consulate in Ho Chi Minh City were issuing non-o visa based upon marriage to a Thai to any nationality.

See this page for the requirements at the consulate. https://hochiminh.thaiembassy.org/en/publicservice/non-immigrant-o-accompanying-thai-spouse-and-family-members

The https://tp.consular.go.th/ site is only for applying for a Thailand Pass for entry to Thailand.

Before planning a trip to Vietnam you need to check their current requirements for entry.

Edit: Appointment site for the consulate.

Their website is mostly in Thai now. https://rtehanoi.thaiembassy.org/th/index

I used google translate to help me but found very little info about visa applications.

I had no luck finding the requirements for a non-o visa based upon marriage on the site.

You should contact them about their requirements. https://rtehanoi.thaiembassy.org/th/page/26656-working-hours-visa-section?menu=5d7de15d15e39c3484001bb7
