No peg legs, hats, or cutlass?

Leftover goods from celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day?

Or perhaps adherents of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster stocking up on supplies?

Heavens no, not unlicensed Doraemon.

Out here in the Issan sticks Doraemon is quite popular with the kids. Stuffed toys, backpacks, t-shirts. None of it's officially licensed. It's the same stuff seized here, commonly found in the night markets.

The only officially licensed Doraemon I know of is at the Miniso in Central Khon Kaen, hundreds of kms away, and costing several times more. 99% of these kids can't and won't get it.

The Department of Special Investigation seized pirate products

How many eye-patches, peg legs and hooks to screw into the hand area were confiscated.  Wonder if there were any glass eyes seized as well.....

For want of a "d" as a final consonant the journalist has errantly transformed what should have been a transitive verb into a noun.  It could have been worse - he could have phrased it as an intransitive verb and then we'd all be wondering where the pirate's ship was and where did he do his pirating.

After every copper involved flogs a duvet and a stuffed toy or two for their Mia Noi, the balance will probably get sold back to the original owners after a "bond" has exchanged hands.

Well won't they get 40% of the stuff for free just like Joe Ferrari and his cars.

I promised GF that I invested heavily in her and her family rural Isaan.

All dressed in genuine designer clothes.

They moved up the respect ladder in their village.

And we even perform hi-so protected sex with the "LV feel like heaven" condoms.

All they have to do is look at Lazada if they want pirated goods from China.

Just got a total useless SD micro card. Nicely packed, but worthlessness.

Don't say that.

It took my whole team to load it on the truck and send it over to you.
