OK, all you law abiding (I mean law fearing) Americans who have been filing their FBAR (Report of Foreign Bank and Financial Account). If you mail this from Thailand, how exactly do you mail it? The address is a post office box. Can you send to this post office box with a service that requires a receiver signature, or will it get sent back because its a post office box. If so, what do you, just regular Thai registered mail?

Thanks very much for that.

You really have to wonder why they don't make it possible to file this one online. Yes, they wouldn't get a signature but the compliance would surely be higher and more reliable.

BTW, the form is due June 30. The instructions make it sound like they need it in their hot hands by that date; no mention of the due date being by way of a postmark.
