I just got an email from Bangkok Airways about a question that I had asked them a couple of weeks ago pertaining to Covid testing with the Samui Plus program and possibly missing my flight to Koh Samui waiting for the results from my test. The email stated that I would have to get a RT-PCR test or a Rapid Antigen test 72 hours before my flight to Bangkok. From what I understand the only test that they are accepting is the RT- PCR test and they won't accept the Rapid Antigen test. Does anyone out there have any info on whether they are accepting the Rapid Antigen test?

flight to Bangkok

No one???

Are you asking about an international flight from abroad to Bangkok?

Even without rechecking, RT-PCR is still the only accepted test in this case.

That's what I thought. I wonder why Bangkok Airways would tell me that an Antigen test would be fine to enter Bangkok from the U.S.

You even have to make sure it is an "RT-PCR".

There seems to be a "PCR" test that is somewhat different (less accurate as some people write).

There are so many different sources.

Try this as an example:

Travellers are required to have negative RT-PCR test result tested within 72 hours before departure.

Is there any hospital or clinic in Pattaya or Bangkok (more likely Bangkok) that will give PCR test results and certificate on the same day as the test sample is taken? If yes, name and location please. If not, same question within 24 hours. Thanks a lot.

I have a RT-PCR test booked 32 hours before departing Australia to Bangkok. The pathology has assured results will be made available within hours of testing . Is 32 hours enough time before leaving Australia ?
