Christmas for me is incomplete without The Harry Simeone Chorale's 1958 Christmas album.  The album is comprised of so many of the most well known and beloved traditional carols arranged as medleys.  Enjoy the entire album.

We all have different roots.  For traditional Christmas choirs the Vienna Boy's Choir is arguably one of the best in the world.  Stille Nacht best captures the Christmas spirit for me.

It would be difficult to find a better version of Carol Of The Bells, by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych from 1914 with lyrics by Peter J. Wilhousky.  Performed by St. Georges Choir at Windsor in 2018.

But this is Thailand.
Namo tassa Bagavato Arahato Samma Sambuttasa.

I don't miss "Christmas" and the economic abortion it had become.
The religiosity of Christmas as dies out long ago.  I continued to celebrate it until it became obvious that Black Friday was more important than the birth of Jesus.

"God rest ye merry, gentlemen Let nothing you dismay Remember, Christ, our Saviour Was born on Christmas day To save us all from Satan's power When we were gone astray O tidings of comfort and joy."

Yes, but nowadays with all the New Normal and SJW and Marxists, you can't mention 'gentlemen'  (triggered!) or 'Christmas' (triggered!) or 'Christ' (triggered!) or 'you' (triggered!), or 'us' (triggered!).  You can probably mention Satan if you're deferential.

At pushing 70 years old I reflect in this 'Christmas' (triggered!) season:
What a screwed up world!

And as some of elders here are hard rockers then Bruce Springsteen's '75 live performance of Santa Claus Is Coming To Town is indispensable.

We all get to choose how we keep Christmas.  Choose well.

Sometimes I like to lay back listen to this by the lights of the Christmas tree....A few candles & a cold one - on a good system...

This is the long instrumental/sax version.....

When I started this thread I kinda figured I wasn't going to be able to post all the real good ones.  I'm with ya, CL.  Put this one on loop.
