Urgent question. Kids still dont need covid extension if a parent have one already??

How old are the kids.

Children are not fined for overstay however personally I would obtain them an extension.

Being toddlers thinking common replies will be do nothing. Don't bother with extensions.

Children under the age of 15 are not fined for a overstay but they do get a stamp when leaving the country for the overstay. My advice is that they should keep their permits to stay in the country valid since it can cause other problems if staying long term.

If you plan to send your kids to school here, I would definitely make sure they are here legally.

OP, To a small degree it depends on how long you intend to remain in Thailand. 

You mention that your currently on covid extension..
