I was told they aren't currently allowed in, but haven't been able to confirm if that's correct, or still ongoing.

Good idea!  Yeah looking at the Google reviews dogs are allowed in again.

I went there a couple of months ago and part of the park is closed to dogs but the rest of it is open.
