snoop1130 Posted December 30, 2021 Posted December 30, 2021 A fire destroyed three older, ramshackle houses made of zinc/sheet metal in Banglamung yesterday afternoon (December 29th). The resulting smoke could be seen many kilometers away, causing concern from many residents, social media, and even TPN readers. Firefighters were notified of the fire at 1:00 P.M. at a housing community in Nongprue composed of various zinc, sheet, and metal houses, many temporary. Fireteams and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find local residents escaping from the fire, many in a panic. The fire was heavily ablaze upon arrival and it took more than half an hour to control the inferno. Three older houses made of zinc/sheet metal were completely destroyed. According to nearby residents, these structures were primarily storage buildings and not residential dwellings.
