You've probably heard the term small movie. Well this is a small tv series and I like it. It's very fresh to meet these characters in the context of small town Kansas. We're not in Kansas anymore? They are!

Yer much the same--- I was going with a Thai girl then who didn't speak more then a few words of English---so as these Videos also had Thai subs on them, we used to sit together & watch----it was over a year before she managed to relay to me that the Thai subs made absolutely no sense whatsoever. ............

I'm fascinated by the great war. WW1. I always pause and read the names on memorials I come across, particularly in the ex-colonies. I imagine those kids loyally marching away from colonial safety and bucolic peace to the hell of the Western Front and Gallipoli, for the conceit of politicians and Kings. So I enjoyed. "1917" and earlier the Aussie TV miniseries "Gallipoli" released on the 100th Anniversary and available in streaming services too.

I just think Ivor is trying to wind Jingthing up............ its annoying when things are out of context, but I really dont think he is that worried about it all.

Having started  Bates Motel I'm pleased to say I'm quite impressed. It's got a good series  of unfolding storylines, credible relationships and pretty tight  mystery and suspense. FWIW It gets good reviews on RT with each series  getting better.
On another  note: I just watched E6 of  1883 a historical  prequel to Yellowstone.  Although  a great series episode 6 was a bit disappointing.

Pam & Tommy  was released  today February 2, 2022, on Hulu, just the  first three episodes so far and theirafter each episode  to be released weekly. I remember when the porno tape was released years ago. I'm going to wait to view the full series. I think the actress was famous for Orange is the new black the women prison drama an early Netflix production. Although OITNB was great Wentworth the Australian equivalent was perhaps  better and definitely  worth a look.

if you read what i wrote two very good series The Gilded Age and 1883 are my favourites ,but why must they include people just to be "inclusive" "or box ticking" if it is so important ,why not have white people playing parts that non whites would normally be .? oh and please do not say they used to ,the reason for this there were no actors of colour to play the parts in those days .

I came on here to look for a movie/TV series to watch but I am finding the posts here much more entertaining lol!

It's BRILLIANT!!! The American  version  set in Belize is really good too

I just went to put out a request for someone to rip it and a lot of folks have already requested it, I don't think its out on BRD or on one of the legal streaming services yet, I think its a matter of hanging out.

Just downloaded a new series Hotel Paradiso,its about a Brit couple running a hotel in Italy in 1926 ,the scenery is lovely as is most of Italy(one of my favourite countrys) not sure about the story ,its a bit slow the first episode  but i will give it a go ,oh and for all of you that are interested ,one of the rich guests  has a wife of colour and the Asian doctor who was a doctor in the first world war (great British accent) looks as if he is going to turn out to be gay .yippee boxes ticked????????
