My wife and myself are thinking about helping out a friend and moving into her condo as she cannot let it out.

The condo is just over the river in Nonthaburi.

I've read I believe more than a few times that the immigration officers in Nonthaburi for the marriage extension are quite pedantic, tedious.

I would appreciate any comments this is specifically for a marriage extension.

If you feel better about private messaging me then that would be great as well.

Thank you

Nonthaburi had a bad reputation in the past.

More recently few positive reports.

Perhaps change of staff?

Someone that deals with that office especially extensions marriage can advise.

A friend of mine last year had a problem with his extension of stay Chiang Mai was not helpful so he used his wifes address in Nonthaburi and they were very helpful in sorting out his extension of stay. He had nothing but praise for immigration there

It depends on who you get. A couple of officers were removed after some social network posts detailing some questionable activities. The screeners at the front are quite effective now..you won't get a queue number if your papers are not in order... So if they send you thru you're in good shape. But they do require witnesses from your local Tambon (according to a married neighbor)..he actually pays a Thai neighbor every year to come to the office for her inconvenience.
