jacko45k Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Not that it justifies this drunken fool, but it does sound like the guy was working out on the street as one often sees in Thailand, a dangerous place to be. 1

mikebell Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 The police exist only to take photos AFTER the event. 2
Road Warrior Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 seems that being drunk for thais is a common situation when driving , !! or on the phone --- unbelievable
Bangkok Barry Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 It would be good to know what happens to these drunken idiots after they kill or injure people, but there is never any follow-up. Based on the fact that he knew he was drunk and was a danger to others I imagine a minimum of 10 years might be a reasonable sentence. 2
Tich Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 Some poor guy is killed, and the plod turn up to photo's of each other

Still, sandbox is much cheaper, with hotels from 8k for 2 weeks. Possibly sandbox will be also shortened. Popular Post Leaver Posted January 22, 2022 Popular Post Posted January 22, 2022 Sad story. The guy goes to work, to earn a day's pays for honest work, probably to provide for his wife and kid/s, and doesn't come home, through no fault of his own. He's a victim of a senseless crime, and I doubt any compensation will be forthcoming to his family who will be financially disadvantaged from his death. For a country with a tough stance on drugs and gambling, to have so many die on the roads here is crazy. RIP. 3
