Officials from Thailand’s Livestock Development Department have impounded about 6.6 tonnes of undeclared frozen pork, which was found in two cold storage facilities in Nakhon Pathom province Saturday, as part of escalated efforts to crack down on hoarding of pork for profiteering.

The department’s director-general Sorravis Thaneto, said that livestock officials raided the two storage facilities to check their frozen pork stocks.

At one facility, inventory documentation showed 288,828.6kgs of frozen pork were being stored by the facility’s owner, but 56,898kgs were being kept at another facility and their movement had not been reported to the Internal Trade Department, as legally required.

Doesn't matter how much pork they have, Thailand cannot make a decent pork sausage !

Yeah.  I hate when you buy the Thai sausage and it's not as sour as it is supposed to be.

And so are their pork sausages. No complaints from me. Can any Germans comment? They are the master sausage makers.

So Tony was right, he knows more that is happening in Thailand, than this bunch of clowns in Power.

Exactly what I said to my wife this morning.

So frozen pork has to file a TM.30 too?

Maybe he is orchestrating it to get some good PR.  He has form in the area of stockpiling food to manipulate prices.

If it doesn't make our breath stink for 2 days after, it's not good.
