I renew my DL this year and will need to go to MTT for residence certificate. 

Haven't changed address in 10 years. 

Not good enough.

Run into folk that have pink card and wear it like a trophy.

Useless in my book.

    Get them.   You have no idea what the future will bring, and there's no harm in having these items.   You really don't want to have to go through the whole process again.

    As long as your address stays the same i don't see any problems. The pink id has a (10 year?) expiry date if under a certain age.
