That time of year again, anyone else going? Always great buys on metalworking tools and equipment from cheap cr*p to state-of-the-art equipment.

 

It's at the BITEC again which should be even more convenient now that along with great parking (I think) the Sky-Walk from BTS Bangna station is complete.

For lathes & mills I think the Intermach show (in May this year) is usually better. Metalex is better for shears, brakes and welding.

 

That said, I think Brother had their CNC mills there last year, they looked pretty bads*ss.

A little late now, but if you have a good idea what you want you might get a good price and free delivery if you buy something they want to bring for the show anyway. Got a new turret press that way about ten years ago. 

If I'm not wrong this is the mini one, mostly for automation, the main Metalex Event is actually in Nov this year.
