Prayut says exiled cop should return to Thailand

Would be much better he take the accusations as real and start investigating. Today it´s fully possible to give statements by video.

Yes, it would be wise for this fellow to stay in Australia, if he is able to.

I am sure that most of us do not trust the great Khaki clad PM.  The manner that

this policeman was treated, was criminal, and I hope he is wise enough to remember that.

Life may be short for him if he did return.

Yet another stain on Thailand. I'm not sure the soaking or intensive cycle is going to make much difference here. The dirt's ingrained and even a bleach won't help.

“He should file a complaint, there is a channel for this,” Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha said at government house on Monday when asked about former Police Major General, Paveen Pongsirin."

Can Uncle Too kindly spill the beans and let the rest of his +/- 70 million underlings know, what kind of channels there are if one is not too happy about a government official's or officer's actions?

A major general seeking asylum in Australia? How’s he going to support himself? Unless he’s got lots of money to live off. How did he get lots of money? I smell a rat.

He hasn't got lots of money.

By "extremely literal", I assume you mean honest and truthful?

Nope...appears post went over your head.

I hope for his sake he stays in Australia, that's already an upgrade in living standards, and as for money, I'd be surprised if he didn't have savings/ investments to fall back on, and who knows, he might be working there now

Eking out a living in a dead end job in Australia is probably better than an "accidental" death involving a broken CCTV camera and a pair of socks in Thailand.
