County  was not meant as a pejorative, sorry if it came of that way...

It certainly could be seen that way, I didn’t, as quite often it’s the city/HiSo  girls who seem to need the kind of education that’s automatic in the country.

Rather than start a new topic.

This question unrelated to kitchen.

So in another town house there was water from big rain in one corner. The cupboard in that corner has brown material.

Looks possible ants. Doesn't look like moulding.

Keep in mind these couple of pics after I wiped most away.

Any ideas and product to use to at very least clean.

Thanks for that.

Yes it's usable but most likely new tenant won't use being a single guy.

Just need to clean up and make presentable and not a health issue.

Edit: just read your added post.

Won't be taking it off wall as new tenant moves on April 30.

So will need a cover up for time being.

It won’t be a big health issue, but it will probably be cheaper to replace it than spend effort on tarting it up.

Sad to say it's 12 month old kitchen.

Super heavy rain got into that corner not long after install 12 months ago.

Anyway a cover up it will be.

That tells you that you will probably need to go wild on everything else with the Chandrite as it almost certainly wasn’t treated so will need quick treatment if there is going to be anything useable in a year or 2s time. I would be using the cans of liquid rather than spray cans. With really good ventilation it should only be about 7 days, but shut cabinet doors and it could be a month or more. The carrier liquid is probably paraffin so that should give you a guide.

Pulling it off the wall and putting it back should be real easy. I think it just hangs on a couple brackets and the screws in the corner blocks draw it up tight. Check out a youtube video. ten minutes down and ten minutes back up.

Were it me, I would pull it off the wall, scrub it, bag it and gas it. Scrub/paint the wall while it's down.

If you stop the bugs it could be great for years. If you don't, they'll be back.

Do not use that !!!!! It is extremely toxic. Outside it’s OK but the dilution rate is 60 to 1

the one to use is

Thanks yet again.

Had trade guy come today and he deals with most upgrades and maintenance here.

He intends to replace the worst overhead cabinet.

Also we have patio above the kitchen and identified water leak.

Going to seal that and attend to cabinet. 4000baht total.

BTW thanks for warning. I was going to load up with the stuff I sent pic.

Coat the cabinets with the stuff I posted, you can get a larger can if you need it. I will usually use a paint brush but have also sprayed it in a pump sprayer not in a compressor paint gun. It doesn’t harm particle board or MDF
