Why don't the UN just kick  Russia out of the UN. They have lied to the chamber on numerous occasions they can't be trusted and now there threatening the General of the United Nations. A precision strike on the factory in Iran and its stockpile will stop the supply of these Iranian drones if there aiding Russia and violating UN Resolution.

a/ Will the world be safer if Russia is not in the UN?

b/ A strike by any country on Iran will be regarded as a declaration of war

c/ Do you assume they haven't thought about an attack on the production site and have not taken steps to protect it or moved it underground?

The way Russia's going they are the ones kicking themselves out of the UN, throwing a hissy fit, also known as spitting out the dummy.

It would be comical had they not been so devastating to see their own duma members and media hosts admitting to having and buying Iranian drones while others deny it. They are relishing their purchase on this vid even talking about setting up manufacturing partnerships with Iran

A great hot mic moment: the expert, member of the Russian Defense Ministry's Public Council, urges the hosts not to mention that the drones used in recent strikes are Iranian, since the authorities refuse to admit that: "It's like an as* — you have it, but don't say the word."

Putin's losing on the battlefield so the hardliners advocate making Ukraine uninhabitable.

Very true and very scary. This is why I think the people screaming for regime change in Russia should think twice. There is zero chance that a new Russian leader will be Jimmy Carter 2.0. Rather it will be one of the even more aggressive types.   This is why a solution needs to be found and fast. Ukraine could be in the difficult position of winning the battles, but losing the war in the long run.  Give Putin something to crow about and quietly compensate Ukraine some other way.  Step back from the brink.

Russia-Ukraine War
Zelensky Calls for Observer Mission at Key Hydroelectric Dam

President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine warned on Thursday that Russia was preparing a “false flag” operation to blow up a large hydroelectric dam in the south of the country, potentially flooding 80 towns, villages and cities, including the strategically important city of Kherson.

He said that the plot to attack the dam at the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant in the city of Nova Kakhovka was aimed at framing Ukraine for the devastating humanitarian and ecological disaster that would ensue. He called for the creation of an international observation mission at the plant, saying it was imperative to prevent a potential catastrophe.

Not many screaming regime change they’re too busy winning battles and ultimately the war. Don’t be suckered by some monster pundits on Russian TV or Fox News or Putin, they’ve already tangled themselves up in their own web of lies.

When this war is won by Ukraine if Putin is still in place so be it. If not so be it.

Zelensky in interview with BBC: I don't care about Putin's fate after Ukraine's victory

"I don't care," Zelensky said to the question whether Putin would survive after Ukraine's victory.

According to the head of state, "Russia will be busy then with its internal affairs. And I think this is right a right thing to do, because one must not solve its internal issues by the seizure of other territories, economic problems – at the expense of other economies."

Seems as though Iran is not only waging a proxy war against Ukraine.

They actually have Iranian troops on the ground in Ukraine assisting the Russians launch their drones against Ukraine cities.

Iran sent troops to Crimea to help Russia use Iranian-made drones, Biden admin officials say

“We assess that Iranian military personnel were on the ground in Crimea and assisted Russia in these operations,” said White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby.

The UK France and Germany are asking the UN to look at Iranian Drones being used in Ukraine it is also looking into Iranians on the ground in the Donbas region training the Ruskies to use the Drones. The lies are still coming out from the Kremlin stating they are not being aided from Iran well we now know that was a pack of lies too,

The US and Russian defence secretaries have spoken in a phone call, in a rare moment of high-level contact between the two countries since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, its is the first time they have spoken since a call on 13 May.

After Friday's call, Pentagon press secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder told the BBC that the US was "eager to keep lines of communication open".

"It has been since May since the two gentlemen spoke, so Secretary Austin took today as an opportunity to connect with Minister Shoigu," he said.

Not sure the Ruskies would want to blow up that dam.

It is the main water source for Crimea and that is still illegally occupied

by russia. Without fresh water for irrigation it would not be of much

use for them,,,,,,,,,unless deep down they know they will have to retreat from there.

A few more bombs on the bridge and things could get worse really fast.

for somebody claiming they are not using Iran drones they do have a funny reaction to UN's request, but again, thus is Russia and their lies, once a liar always a liar and very difficult to believe anything they say. Since they say the drones are NOT fro Irn why not let the inspectors in, nothing to hide, let people see what they are

Russia, Iran defiant amid UN pressure over Ukraine drones

Russia and Iran insist United Nations has no mandate to inspect the ‘kamikaze’ drones, amid accusations they came from Tehran.

Ukrainians are not scared, they are angry. Apparently the bombardment today has been the worst ever. Russia's version of holodomor

U.S. sees no evidence Russia is interested in ending Ukraine aggression - Blinken

Deliberate strikes on Ukraine’s critical civilian infrastructure are part of Russia’s genocide of Ukrainians. Article 2(c) of the Genocide Convention: “Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part”.

In Lutsk, an energy facility that was hit by Russian missiles was actually destroyed. "Damage to the energy facility that was hit is critical. In fact, it has been destroyed. It is currently impossible to restore it. It was hit by three Kh-101 missiles," - Mayor Ihor Polishchuk.

Ukraine war: Russia air strikes target more power facilities

Air strikes have hit critical infrastructure in central and western Ukraine, as Russia continues to target the country's energy grid.

My takeaway quote from that article:

“The loss of Kherson will turn all those southern dreams by the Kremlin into dust,”

From the Ukraine current offense to take it, here's yesterdays update, all going ahead nicely:

Russian forces continued to withdraw from western Kherson Oblast while preparing to conduct delaying actions that will likely be only partially effective, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that Russian forces have completely abandoned their positions in Charivne and Chkalove (both approximately 33km northwest of Nova Kakhovka), and Russian officers and medics have reportedly evacuated from Beryslav.[i] The Ukrainian General Staff added that Russian forces are also removing patients from the Kakhovka Hospital on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River, likely to free up hospital beds for Russian military casualties that may result from the withdrawal across the river.[ii] The Ukrainian General Staff noted that some Russian elements are preparing Kherson City for urban combat, while other servicemembers continue to flee the city via the ferry operating in the vicinity of the Antonivsky Bridge.

This guy Shoigu really cracks me up.

“The purpose of the provocation is to accuse Russia of using weapons of mass destruction in the Ukrainian theatre of operations and thereby launch a powerful anti-Russian campaign in the world aimed at undermining confidence in Moscow,” the RIA Novosti news agency said on Telegram.

Aimed at undermining confidence in Moscow.

Seriously? Confidence in Moscow? What confidence in Moscow? This guy is off his rocker.

RT host Anton Krasovsky suspended for calls to drown, burn Ukrainian children.

If what he said was too crazy even for RT, then you know you’ve really reached the twilight zone. If you read up on this guy a little bit, you will find out he’s seriously bat-sh*t crazy. Like many of his colleague Russian pundits have become.

Apparently Krasovsky apologized, but I can’t find that anywhere, just him saying that he ‘got carried away’. Filthy piece of sub-human excrement.

Here's the video clip of his disturbing rant. As you say it gets to something when even RT suspend a host for their rhetoric although Margarita Simonyan, RT News boss can be just as sick with her previous genocidal and nuclear rhetoric.
