Yes some pretty amazing footage of the whole event and the aftermath. Follow the twitter string. Shows him being handed the small portrait sculpture then bang! 1
Popular Post rudi49jr Posted April 4, 2023 Popular Post Posted April 4, 2023 What a shocker (and a complete load of hooey): Maria Lvova-Belova, Russian children's commissioner, rejects ICC war crime allegations as false, and that she is not responsible for unlawfully deporting children from Ukraine. Lvova-Belova told a news conference in Moscow that the consent of children's parents had always been sought, that the commission acted in the best interests of any child, and that it was more accurate to talk of guardianship rather than adoption. https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russian-childrens-commissioner-rejects-icc-war-crime-allegations-false-2023-04-04/ 2 1

Russia is confiscating passports from its elites, fearing they will defect over its invasion of Ukraine, report says Russia's security services are taking passports from senior officials and executives in state-owned companies, according to a new report by the Financial Times. The outlet said Russia was worried about defections from people who oppose the invasion of Ukraine. https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/russia-confiscating-passports-elites-fearing-130648069.html 4 2

Ukraine to export electricity again after months of Russian attacks Ukraine is able to export electricity for the first time in six months as its energy infrastructure recovers from months of repeated Russian attacks. Russia began its lengthy and deliberate assault on Ukraine's energy infrastructure last October. It led to power cuts and scheduled blackouts, leaving towns and cities in darkness during winter. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-65220003 3 1

bannork Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 An interesting discussion on how the Kremlin can't satisfy the ultra nationalists militarily. The government's only hope is the West gets jaded supporting Ukraine. 1 1

You seem to have a penchant for supporting authoritarian criminals? Do you dislike the supporters of Ukraine so much to ignore Putin's crimes against humanity? 1 1 4 1

It is funny not ha ha funny that far right westerners that support fascists like Trump and Bolsonaro also support Putin. I think a lot is seeded by Kremlin propaganda that is parotted by the likes of the notorious Tucker Carlson. 5 3

bannork Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 I think it's time we gave Ukraine some nuclear weapons, powerful nuclear bombs. I say this because once Ukraine take back Crimea, Putin will either be overthrown or he'll nuke Ukraine, imo. So let him know if that happens he'll get the same treatment.

If he nukes Ukraine, he will very probably get the same treatment anyway, whether Ukraine has nukes or not. The minute those nuclear missiles are fired from Russia (or from Russian submarines), there will have to be an instant response from the West, because they won’t know if those missiles are aimed at Ukraine or at the West.
