How come they don't understand that week-long water throwing is actually bad for business?
Why not visit Pattaya while it's going on and report back? Or read back several posts that describe the antics that take place there during Song Kran. Not sure repeating them will make a difference. -

Lorry Driver Blackout Causes Fatal Crash on Asian Highway
Picture from responders. A crash occurred on the Asian Highway in Sing Buri province on the afternoon of 10 April, when the driver of an 18-wheeler lorry reportedly blacked out at the wheel, causing the vehicle to crash into two parked pickup trucks. One man, a tyre repair technician, was killed instantly. The incident happened at approximately 16:30 at kilometre marker 104 on the northbound lane of the Asian Highway in In Buri district. Police Captain Chayut Saengmanee of In Buri Police Station was alerted to the crash and arrived promptly at the scene. Officers discovered an 18-wheeler Isuzu lorry with Kamphaeng Phet registration plates, that had collided with two pickup trucks parked by the roadside. The first was an Isuzu registered in Sing Buri and the second, a Toyota registered in Lampang. Both pickup trucks were severely damaged. The body of 39-year-old Surachit Veerawut, a roadside tyre technician, was found at the scene. He had been in the process of repairing a flat tyre when the collision occurred. Mr. Kritsada, 39, the driver of the Toyota pickup, told police he was transporting flour to Lampang province when one of his tyres became flat. He had called for a mobile repair service, and the technician was working on the vehicle when the lorry crashed into them. The lorry driver, 35-year-old Mr. Ekaphon, admitted to police that he had experienced a sudden blackout while driving. “The next thing I knew, I had already hit the vehicles,” he stated. Police are continuing their investigation and will take appropriate legal action following the fatal incident. -- 2025-04-12 -

Gaza Paramedics Shot ‘With Intent to Kill,’ Red Crescent Demands International Probe
Not sure what has changed since the last time the entire Muslim middle east attempted to push the Jews into the sea. Except the Egyptians and Saudis have both decided it isn't worth the effort. It's actually only Iran and it's proxies that are still at it and I'd bet on Israel against Iran any day and twice on Sunday.
