Flying from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and back- which test needed?

Hi,

What test do I need if i fly from BKK to Chiang mai?

And do I also need a test if i fly from Chiang Mai to BKK?

I am not vaccinated so I wonder if I need a ATK test. antigen test or PCR test. The websites of the airlines don't help me at all. I think about Thai Smile Air as flight operator.

Kind regards,

You don't need to take a test.

You don't need to show a vaccine certificate coming to BKK, but may need to show one leaving, so that could be a potential problem.

I flew BKK to CNX in mid January and wasn't asked about any test or vaccine status.

As a data point, I've flown round trip Bangkok to Phuket five times since November. I've been asked to produce my vaccination certificate each time for my flight to Phuket, but never for the flight to Bangkok. If I did online check in and did not stop at check in, I've been asked for the vaccination certificate at the boarding gate.

Which airline? I flew Thai Smile to CNX in January and February and was asked to show proof of vax both times. February flight was on the 22nd. Assuming you did not fly Thai Smile.

Seems from my experience flying to CNX on 22nd February, just last month, Thai Smile is still going by this chart from last October. But not all airlines are enforcing the same it seems.

I flew Bangkok Air.  I did have the Morchana app downloaded and the results of the first PCR test had been uploaded...not sure if that made any difference.

Thanks everyone for all information. Appreciate it. Especially this schedule helps me. Will look for a clinic then.
