Popular Post Skeptic7
Another one! Thought we might just get through one full day without an "effed up" Thai manchild murdering someone for their own failings. NOPE! Daily event now. The Thai male population more resembles an unstable, violent gang of murderers rather than any part of normal. They murder friends as well as foes. Family members, wives and girlfriends are all fair game too. This is well past ridiculous and getting worse by the day. 4 1

Articles like this I guess.... In Thailand, gun crime is a serious issue. The country has the 5th highest rate of gun-related deaths in the world, more than 1 million guns are illegally owned. In an attempt to reduce these numbers. Thailand’s government introduce a new law. That would allow police officers to search anyone without needing any suspicion of wrongdoing. 3 2

"...more than 1 million guns are illegally owned" .What's that got to do with my question re how easy it is to own a gun legally here as that poster claimed? That aside, I'd wonder how that alleged article would know how many illegal guns there are in Thailand, it's not as though there's a register of them. Anyone could just as easily claim that there are, say, only 1000 illegally owned guns as that assertion that there are one million of them. No one would ever be able to check! 2 1

Popular Post WhatupThailand
Guns are not the problem, the problem is a lack of common sense, that leads anyone to think that violence is the only answer to a problem. So here you have "You not take care of mom, so I kill you" Where is any kind of logic or sense here ? How can anyone pull this reasoning out of the air ? You have to be stupid or crazy to think this way. So Sad to see so much of this in Thailand. Maybe because if you are the one who is wrong, you lose Face. So you can not admit it to yourself or apologize, which puts you on the path of confrontation and violence. 2
edwardflory
I carried a side arm 28+ years, 4 years as a cop, the rest of the time as a private citizen. The firearm NEVER shot me no matter where I wore it. It came out of my holster ( to use ) 2 times. 1) in the middle of the summer 3 people wearing long over coats came into a store and left when they saw my unholstered firearm - about 10 minutes later a police blockade stopped the car, arrested all - were convicted felons. 2) was in a jewelry store when a robber came in, made the mistake of pointing his gun at a customer ( was the chief of police in plain clothes - I knew him ) not the sales staff. I pointed my firearm from cover at the robber and asked the chief where he wanted me to shoot the robber. Crook surendered. Guns don't shoot people, PEOPLE SHOOT PEOPLE Edited March 12, 2022 by edwardflory spelling 2

connda
That's what happens when governments and their "experts" convince their citizens that they are personally to blame when others get Covid. Not the flu or colds or dengue or TB. But now???? "Mum got Covid and it's your fault!!! <bang......> The fact that the Covid blame game is in the public consciousness at all is completely on the governments who were responsible for promoting that tosh. And now? Here's an example of what happens. Congratulations on your effective campaign of fear. To the daughter. RIP To the father and mother. I'm so sorry!
