March 24, 20223 yr I am think of buying this bike from a friend, I have viewed the YT for the evaluations... Any comments or insights?
March 25, 20223 yr A well regarded adventure-styled sport tourer. If most your riding will be on roads, but you want a more upright seating position than a sports bike, I think it's a good choice. Anecdotally, not quite as reliable as a Honda Africa Twin or Versys 650, but the Triumph triple is a great ride and sounds glorious. I had the 955cc triple, and loved it. If you are doing lots of city riding, or some off road, probably not ideal .... it's quite top heavy. A complete, dealer service history is essential. It's also not a bike for a beginner, or as a step up from a Scoopy. The Honda CB500X or Kawasaki Versys X300 would be a better choice for anyone without big bike experience.

My first choice would have been the Honda CB500X, however this has more umph... Rode a KZ 750 back in my college days.
