The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) announced it had pulled Vietnam, Myanmar and Ukraine off its list of countries with strengthened quarantine requirements.

The decision came after health experts from the agency held a meeting on Thursday to analyze "overall Covid risks by country and the number of confirmed imported cases from each," Vietnam News Agency reported, citing a source from KDCA.

Earlier, South Korea added Vietnam, Myanmar and Ukraine to its list of countries with strengthened quarantine requirements in which arrivals from these countries would have to undergo seven-day self-quarantine upon arriving from April 1 regardless of vaccination status.
