Does anyone know of a theater in Khon Kaen that shows English language movies in English? Or that shows movies with English subtitles?

The charmingly named Fairey plaza shopping mall has cinemas with english language movies. You may also find that some of the thai movies have english subtitles.

I haven't been to Khon Kaen for a few years, but I believe there is another movie theater in a shopping mall near to the Charoen Thani Hotel?

no dont think Kosa (near chareon thani) has a movie theatre. Supposedely Central is on the way to KK though !! believe it when i see it i guess

The second movie theater is opposite the Kosa hotel in the Oasis Mall.

I was told that it would be a very rare day that a movie either place would be in English. (If at all.)

English subtitles, yes, some.

I've heard there is a place at the university that sometimes has movies in English, but don't have any details.

Thanks for the replies. I'll try Fairy Plaza and, failing that, stick to the DVDs for sale.
