A total eighty-eight people in a Ho Chi Minh City dance club tested positive for drugs during a police raid Saturday.

According to VN Express, hundreds of people were dancing to the music at the Ferso bar in District 3 past midnight when HCMC police officers entered the premises.

Many people tried to escape and threw away plastic bags. Several narcotic pills and bags containing crystals were found at the scene.

A quick test revealed that seventy-four customers and fourteen bar employees tested positive for narcotics.

Police have filed a report to punish the bar for late opening and letting customers use drugs, although specific penalties were not revealed.

Around two months prior, the Ferso bar was also raided by police, with seventy-eight people testing positive for drugs at that time.
