Indians seem to be an unlucky lot when it comes to having expensive article of jewellery stolen, allegedly.  Surprised that these Indians are not claiming theft of their Rolex's or perhaps they have not caught onto that one yet.

Love the irony of the ''Welcome Back, We Missed You Sign'' in the background of that picture.

2:30 in morning most places are closed and they were roaming with expensive gold chain? There must be some type scam going on in India and they need a police report for that. Definitely not an insurance claim because insurance companies are not stupid to pay off people roaming 2AM in the morning with the gold chain. My guess is they can write it off of their tax returns as business loss with a police report.

Indians can easily get valuation certs and invoices for bogus items in their home country.  Claiming that they had them stolen is one way of getting a cheap, or even free holiday if they are really trying a scam. As for claiming two individuals went up to hug him then that is a bit of a stretch knowing what 99% of Thais think about Indians, but maybe these 2 lady boys, if they were as claimed, were just perverts and part of the odd 1% ?

Insurance companies do not restrict the hours during which a policy such as this would be valid.

What were they doing wandering about 230am.

They weren't "wandering around", they were walking along 2nd Road back to their hotel after a night out.   Reading the OP properly is always a good idea.

Yes but i like playing with my own one not one of someone elses  ,i am not gay so if you like playing with one on a ladyboy you must be gay.yes?

Not necessarily- things are not cut and dried - not black and white  - but why does it bother you? Try it sometime- choose a pretty ladyboy and see if you enjoy it. Choose carefully- not some nutter of the street  but a girl from a reputable  go go bar - Sounds like you may like it.

Is this a 'report' or a 'fact' ?  I'm betting there isn't any CCTV that shows any two LBs on a motorbike at 2:30 AM near where they 'report' the incident to have happened.  There is many CCTV on 2nd road.

Why shouldn't there be any?   With no justification, whatsoever, you're saying that they are liars?

What were they doing wandering about 230am.  Not like nightlife was going strong then.  And stupid enough to show off wearing gold?  Idiots.

What's wrong with wandering around at the coolest past of the day - perhaps  they were 'wandering' back to their hotel - returning home.

Their report could be legitimate.    Surprised that you haven't caught on to that one yet instead of promulgating a daft racial slur..

Sure it was bad judgement to be flashing gold . But this is strongarm robbery by criminal lowlife locals against two tourists. So I would rather blame the city and so called police for their inaction in patroling and preventive action rather than the victims.  Unlike the US where someone's  civil rights are more important than your safety, here there is nothing stopping the authorities from rounding them up. And taking them away. Fascism is not all bad.

I think you will find its socialist countries who round up anti social elements - anyway authoritarian behaviour is not limited to fascist states witness Russia, China, Cuba etc.

That's exactly what they were doing, as the OP link described.

Maybe, they're not.

Then they are rubes. As described in the first part of post you deleted.

The part of your comment that I did not quote was irrelevant to the part that I did quote, I did not delete anything.

Another pearl of wisdom from the scouse brain trust. When you meet 3  or 4 friends does your contribution to the light hearted banter consist entirely of selectively attacking  small elements of what everyone says without adding anything interesting, informative or humourous?

Doubt you have 3 welcome to the ignore list.
