Two of Thailand’s hotels have been included among TripAdvisor’s global list of the top 25 hotels in 2022.

 

The hotels chosen for “Traveller’s Choice 2022 – Best of the Best Awards” for this year are Pimalai Resort and Spa on Koh Lanta, in the country’s southern province of Krabi, and Sukhumvit Park – Marriott Executive Apartments in Bangkok.

 

Pimalai Resort and Spa ranks at number 12 for being a “perfect place” for a honeymoon trip and for its hospitality, while Sukhumvit Park ranks number 16 for its location and service.

Other hotels in Southeast Asia included on this year’s list are The Padma Resort Ubud in Indonesia, The Lotte Hotel Hanoi in Vietnam, The Royal Purnama in Indonesia and Jaya House River Park in Cambodia.

Here we go again, in a list of 'tops' when nobody has actually travelled in 2022 ! If it's not actual visitors making them in the top 25, then its just more holiday brochure nonsense

Marketing ploy to get some bookings?

The Ambassador Pattaya will not figure; in a penny-pinching measure they've turned off the A/C in their excellent fitness centre; the manager will not respond to my emails.  Meanwhile there are at least 2 people issuing you a ticket to enter; four attendants playing on their phones in the empty facility.

Based on the virtual stay with virtual hospitality!!

Thai hotels ranking on guest reviews ... where in Thailand guests can be dragged to court and even jail for stating a not favorable truth?

 

Only worse, when ranking not based on real reviews, but advertising money, connections, or industry politics.

Where in Thailand, ignorant TA guest give 5* reviews to self rated 5* hotels, that have a pool & buffet breakfast.

 

Having 1 or 2 restaurant, with lapse in service during the day

No spa

No Gym facilities

No concierge

No room service

No limo service
