How many weeks in a year open Mon-Fri?

Featured Replies

Yet another two weeks closed on a Friday and following   Monday . Thai Immigration must have the fewest full 5 day  weeks  of opening in a year .

Right. I'd be tempted to answer "not many".

I'd be tempted to say that they get the same "bank" holidays and "Buddha" holidays as everyone is entitled to.

Come on!

Full three months of the year without a single holiday: March, September and November  (errors excepted).

And still the wise leader might decide to sprinkle some extra holidays.

Four so far this year.

They don't get any more official holidays than any other Thais.

They get all public holidays (19+). Private sector has only 13 mandatory days.

Who in their right mind goes to immigration on a Monday or Friday anyways?  Holidays are announced months in advance, easy to plan around if not lazy.
