webfact Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 By Goong Nang(GN) Pattaya- An unidentified foreign graffiti artist, known for his prolific Dale Earnhardt graffiti seen across the city, was caught on CCTV footage while he was spraying a business shutter’s door in Pattaya early yesterday morning (May 17th). CCTV footage yesterday shows the foreign man was spraying a metal shutter door of a closed business in the Pattaya area around 3:44 A.M. The fledgling artist left the name ‘Dale’ on his graffiti and the number 3, which appeared to be an artistic rendition of NASCAR racing legend Dale Earnhardt, who passed away in a racing accident in 2001 on the final lap of the Daytona 500. Popular Post BangkokReady Posted May 18, 2022 Popular Post Posted May 18, 2022 The annoying thing about this, is that although some people like "street art" and see it as being beneficial or improving the look of the area, people ignore the fact that some people don't like it and it also remains someone's property, which they might not want to be graffitied upon. 3

Indeed. If he had a car I wonder if he would be pleased if someone sprayed poor graffiti all over it. Alan's Graffiti Problem - I'm Alan Partridge - BBC_Trim.mp4 2

They both should be locked up for causing damage to property that is not theres! 2

Alan's Graffiti Problem - I'm Alan Partridge - BBC_Trim.mp4 Great reference. "We managed to rectify it though, it now says… by adapting it, it now says “cook” where it once said “cock”. And it says “pass” now, where it once said “<deleted>”. So it’s slightly less rude."

Just checked out some of his "work". Really just a lame "tag". You would think that a foreigner would think better than to just go around making the city he's being allowed to live in look worse. 2

Adumbration Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 I once studied a very interesting legal case regarding graffiti. In central Australia there are some ancient rock paintings. A young lad fromt he local tribe sprayed his tag over several of the paintings. He was arrested and charged with malicious damage. Anthropoligical community was outraged. Barrister acting for the lad argued that it was not graffitti but merely the boys continution of the artistic endeavors of his ancestors.
Credo Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Well, looking at the picture, it seems he has a grip on more than just the spray can.

Stargeezr Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 Find him, jail him then deport him. That should be the future for this jerk. graffiti and street art are like oranges and bananas, both fruit, but not the same at all. 1
