A 34 year old Thai man arrested in Yala in the far south for a gun attack on a female PE teacher claimed he had a panic attack after taking drugs and thought she was a police patrol.

Woraphan Maileauang, 29, was wounded on 13th May after Hamdee Ye-loh used a shotgun to fire at her through the door of her Suzuki Swift, reported Thai Rath.

She managed to get away and seek help.
