A man, his wife and two children were found dead inside an apartment complex in Hanoi's Hoang Mai District, police said Thursday.

At around 3 p.m., an employee of the Park 1 apartment tower in the Times City urban area suspected that murder had taken place in an apartment on the 28th floor and decided to inform local authorities.

The authorities found the man and his wife, both forty-three, and their two children, 5 and 16, dead in the bedroom.

A Hanoi police representative said in the evening that an investigation has been launched into the deaths.

Locals in the area said it is suspected that it was a case of murder cum suicide.

Not sure why the title is suicide pact. I'm sure the 5 year old had little intension to end their life. This type of tragedy is one i always find more shocking and disturbing than any other, murder-suicide RIP to the innocent and young.
