Bangkokians of the Pub Forum: how much do you spend on a night out (or afternoon out)?

 

It can include drinks, food, taxis, and whatever else you spend your money on when out on the town!

Both amount  and frequency  can vary. When I was a holiday  maker  here I went out 5 nights a week at least and spent 5k to 12k. Now I live here I only  go out  for a big night  out once a week and spend less 4 - 10k.

Same here. Haven't had a night out since New Year 2021.

Only visit BAngkok every 3 months or so, and visit at least one of our favourite restaurants, and can spend 8 - 10k for two persons, involving 3 courses,  two bottles of wine, cognac.

 

well worth after spending a month or two in Isan eating almost only home cocked. Nothing wrong with our cooking, but the lack of the quality of seafood, steaks, lamb and wine, makes it a whole evening experience and a good time off from our farming life. 
 

Perfect combination living a simple free life, and a taste of What Bangkok can offer in the higher end. Before I did not like Bangkok to much, but after I got familiar with some of their best restaurants, I do now.
