Calling 1-800 # from Tland to Canada (AIS)

Featured Replies

How do I dial a 1-800 number to Canada from Thailand, please.

Tried every combo of numbers I can think of.  No luck so far.  Called AIS, they couldn't understand the problem and didn't care.   Pffffft!  You all are my last hope.  I'm begging.  Haha.

Will buy you a beer!

Did you remember to use the + sign before the number 1?

If you have a Skype account, I think you can call 800 numbers in the US and Canada for free.

I use FONGO application, which allows to choose a local regional number, as if you were at home in Canada, free calls within that region, or free to all calls that are free from your house in Canada.

And free 1-800 calls, again, same as if you were home in Canada.

I remember calling home, do not remember through which application or service provider, but if this here does not work for you:

To call Canada from Thailand, dial: 001 - 1 - Area Code - Land Phone Number 001 - 1 - 10 Digit Mobile Number
  • 001 - Exit code for Thailand, and is needed for making any international call from Thailand.
  • 1 - ISD Code or Country Code of Canada.
  • Area code - There are 26 area codes in Canada.

FONGO will do it free. Just set it up on your mobile phone.
