Thai Rath reported that rescue services in Ayutthaya province in central Thailand were called after a large water monitor entered a stainless steel company in Uthai district.

 

The "Tua Ngern Tua Thong" - referred to as "Big Size" in the Thai media - was lurking on the ground floor by the stairs.

 

As rescue teams tried to make a grab for the four meter long monster it managed to wriggle free and went upstairs to the second floor of the four story business premises.

 

There after a half hour or more it was caught, tied up and subsequently returned to nature.

 

Sukanya Yoophan, 28, said she was in the back of a pick-up outside the firm when she head dogs barking and saw the creature enter the premises. She called for help.

 

She said she was lucky she had not been inside at the time as it might have bitten her. 

 

She said she would be going to buy lots of lottery tickets and hoped to win big. 

 

The appearance in Thailand of water monitors, snakes, weird shaped banana trees and coffin lids - to name just four cases recently - all herald lottery wins, according to the faithful, notes ASEAN NOW.

Yep! It´s only in Thailand people consider having a giant lizard inside lucky.

Once I was being bitten by 1 billion ants, attacked by a python, and dragged out of my flooded bathroom by a lizard.......

Think I would have had a giant size turnout to monitor she should buy lottery number 2 ????
