The Central Inspection Committee has proposed that the Politburo disciplines former HCMC chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong for violating Party regulations.

 

In a statement Wednesday it also proposed the HCMC Communist Party Designated Representative Committee for the 2016-2021 term be disciplined for violating the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations and for its loose leadership.

 

The inspectors proposed that warnings be issued to the Party Committee Standing Boards of the municipal construction department as well as the Office of the HCMC People's Committee.
