Crisis for Boris Johnson as Sunak and Javid lead wave of resignations from UK government

The chancellor, the most senior politician after the prime minister, and the health secretary have said they can no longer support Boris Johnson after he claimed to not know about 2019 allegations against MP Chris Pincher, who quit over groping claims.

I would celebrate Boris's downfall much more if there was a sensible replacement at hand. The fear of Dianne Abbot being chancellor,Lammy being anywhere or Corbyn arming his way back in is palpable. Personally I'd like to see that mr.Brexit Nigel Farage be PM. He knows how to get stuff done.

I suspect this is the beginning of the end for Boris. Unfortunately there is no obvious replacement in the Conservative party and no credible opposition (unless you consider the likes of Starmer, Abbott, Lammy, Rayner to be credible ????).

 

Personally I'd go with Liz Truss or Dominic Raab. Or maybe The Moggster, just for giggles.

Calling Johnson a slag in your last post, now calling me ignorant, you'd probably fit in well on Labour's front bench. Certainly with Rayner, who is another good example of this seething vitriol from the virtue signallers, and another example of why they have been out of power for over a decade with no light at the end of the electoral tunnel. Oozing malevolence from every pore, they fool no-one ????.

Yes, Labour have been out of power for over a decade, and likewise the Tories have been in power for the same 12 years.

 

So if there are problems in the UK the Tories have had time to fix them ( or cause them):

 

Poverty and the cost of living crisis.

The crumbling NHS and ever increasing waiting lists.

Mental health services overwhelmed by demand.

The housing crisis.

Homelessness.

The social care crisis.

Failing public services across all sectors.

The collapse of policing in communities.

Air transport chaos.

Stagnant economic growth.

Corruption of ‘Chumocracy’ in Government.

Skills shortages and worker shortages.

UK borders open to all forms of smuggling.

 

The list goes on.

 

12 years in Government, it’s all on the Tories.

This particular piece of smugness deserves its own response because it’s a clear indication of precisely how out of touch you, and this Government, are with the problems people in the UK are facing now.

 

The lack of access to dentists is a significant problem and a regular point of discussion, the perhaps you’ve never had a tooth ache.

 

The message is clear, whether it be access to dentists, GP’s, hospital care or even responding to a 999 call, the public have been abandoned by a government that has no concern for ordinary people.

COVID is having near zero impact. 
 

It’s not preventing police officers attending 999 calls.

Covid-19 put an incredible strain on the NHS. While the government's increased NHS spending and excellent vaccine management program helped matters, there is inevitably a backlog for treatment after such an incredibly destructive pandemic.
