I know. The issue is why didn't he choose a true example of a rule which was significantly and negatively affecting UK, rather than lying about banana regulations.

I have some ideas about it.....

The banana allegations were true though ,

It means your man broke away from his security detail and partied with the KGB.

As you have failed to show any evidence of your claim .

We can take it that your claims about "the liar" Boris johnson meeting a KGB agent were untrue .

Fortunately we haven’t had a Liebour PM for about 17 years. There’s very little else to compare with other than war criminal Blair’s massive lies. Smarmy Starmer hasn’t had much opportunity to  show his deceit yet, although his sanctimonious performance over partygate while presiding over beergate is rank hypocrisy.

More diversion. No attempt to address the actions and lies of Johnson.

Yes, they do love their whataboutery don't they?

Last time I looked, the bump in the log that's Starmer was leader of the Opposition. Labour has nothing remotely to do with serial abuse of power and contempt for the voters there.

The video shows that Starmer is the liar here. Angel also.

He is innocent. Your man is guilty.

And Boris had a FPN to prove it!

Try analyzing the difference between finishing election campaigning, then having a prearranged beer n curry party in the office after work.

Your next analysis is the difference between the above and the partygate campaign. No difference except politically motivated police.

Which ones? The Met or the Durham rozzers?

It probably took the EU four years to regulate that. ????

It matters not a jot how long it took them, the point is that any shape of banana was permitted under EU rules (contrary to what Johnson and his acolytes would have had us believe).

Glad we settled that one amicably.

Now, what about Boris's claim that the EU wanted to ban the great British shrimp cocktail flavoured potato crisp?

Surely that would be an incentive to vote 'remain'.

I am claiming he granted a peerage to the son of a former KGB officer against the advice of the British security services.

Your second claim is different to your first claim .

Your second claim is correct , but your first claim is incorrect and untrue

The E,U banned the food colouring artithrazine  and Prawn cocktail crisps contained artithrazine and were banned , until they found an alternative food colouring .

So Boris was correct when he stated Prawn cocktail crisps had been banned , although I seem to recall that it was Worcester sauce crisps that were banned (maybe both were )

How on earth can you logically come to that conclusion?

Johnson's mayoral administration was responsible for initiating the project, allocating funds to it, for designing the procurement process and letting contracts. How much more responsible could he be?

I am glad you wrote it that way.

quote "Johnson's mayoral administration was responsible".

How much do you truly think that Boris personally did of that project?

Did he personally initiate the project?

Did he personally allocate the funds to it?

Did he personally design the procurement process and letting contracts?

Or was that all done by other departments, and then presented to Boris as a complete package?

Most projects are created, planned, designed and built by grunts, handed off to department managements for review, then back and forth until completed and agreed upon and only then does it get presented to the CEO, who probably has a general idea of the project but not the details.

That would be down to each department head and his team. While the CEO gives the final nod he has to rely on the department heads to get it right and they in turn rely on the team under them.

So, yes the end responsibility is his, but thousands of man hours go into any project, and the CEO simply does not have the time to do it himself.

Then why was he chosen as the PM by the British people?

Prime minister means 'prime'.

No. He said that the EU was dictating the shape of bananas ( “absolutely crazy that the EU is telling us.....what shape our bananas have got to be”.

The EU did not prohibit bent bananas , it just established a classification according to some quality standards, at the request of the industry.

Mind you, it's not stupid at all. It's actually quite business oriented. Bent bananas are likely to be less attractive for consumers and will not be bought at a premium price. When supermarkets pay the price for "extra class" bananas, they wants to know what they will be getting. They want to make sure the bananas will appeal consumers and can be sold without discount.

He wasn't. He was chosen by his own party who, having been invited by the Queen to form a government, selected him.

We do not have a President nor a Presidential system in the UK. The Prime Minister serves at the Monarch's pleasure. The Monarch is the head of state.
