July 11, 20223 yr I am thinking of sending 4 big boxes (including a bicycle) of (used) stuff back to Germany that I do not need here. Duration of transport is not relevant to me, but price is. Thai Airways quotes 70 USD per KG which is a joke. Thai post quotes around 7500 Baht per 30 Kg box which i find too expensive. Thanks!
July 11, 20223 yr Be very interested to know a cheap answer to this, I have so much stuff to get back to the UK in the next 10 years or so, that putting a little bit in my suitcase every 9 months makes little difference to
July 29, 20223 yr Author I have not received a quote so far. Contacted eagles air and sea 3 weeks ago, but no offer yet. Thai post is around 7500 Baht for 30 Kg. Any other ideas? Booking 2 seats on the plane does not increase your baggage allowance for whatever reason. Flying business is 1500€ instead of 500 with the cheapest carrier.

Remember to keep all the invoices for HMC ????
July 30, 20223 yr There is no good answer to this. The fact that you have a bike makes any shipping doubly difficult. From what you describe you are falling between the cracks of shipping via a DHL and a freight company. With bike in play, I'd try to consolidate everything into a freight shipment. The minimum is usually half a container, which is a lot. I seem to remember there are sites which pair up folks shipping stuff overseas in order to fill containers. Other than that forget DHL, UPS or Fedex, you'd be better selling off everything and buying new in Germany Google is your friend
