Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said that during this upcoming long holiday, from Wednesday 13th to Sunday the 17th, there may be an increased risk of Covid-19 infections in many areas, therefore, the Ministry would like to encourage the public to get vaccinated at vaccination centers, Provincial Health Offices, and public hospitals nationwide before traveling.

A tad late...

The article was about China's lockdown and new variant that has 20% of it's population in lockdown.

Calm down and read your  post I was replying to.  Your use of pronouns and the last sentence is grammatically a mess("from China as there").  It is difficult to determine if you are referring to China or Isaan.  No biggy, I get it now and agree with your post.  My online clarity can also be lacking at times.

"Hopefully they won't be using Sinovac for the poorer provinces in Issan.

They seem better prepared than last year at least.

They won't be getting as much free junk from China as there having a hell of a time with the newest variants.. "

I'm looking at the data this year and it "seems" to show at most 50% of deaths are vaccinated but since 90% are vaccinated this number isn't a reflection of the the vaccines effectiveness. Deaths per 100k of vaccinated vs. unvaccinated would be more relevant.

Your anti-vax rant is unproductive and not true.  Many people have solid reasons not to be vaccinated. I feel the data supports vaccination but I am open to being wrong.  Time will tell and I feel the freedom of thought was the ultimate loser during the first 2 years of the pandemic.  The tides are changing...

Oh jeez,

Hopefully you get your family vaccinated and don't put them in danger.

Anti vaxer, ugh.

Hopefully they insist on vaccines to get your Visa.

I'm surprised they even let you enter Thailand.

In April and May of this year in the UK, 94% of deaths...jabbed.

A manipulative statistic since over 75% are fully vaccinated ... it is like saying a high percentage with 2 arms died and blaming that.

Just explaining that I misunderstood your post and why.  Sorry, didn't know you would be offended.  I even mentioned that I often make posts that are grammatically challenged.  On top of that, I even told you I agreed with your point after I understood the intent.

I just don't possess your anger at all that is outside my believes.  I wonder how this type of attitude is good for your emotional well being.  You make some good points in the process of being insulting.  Drop the insults and more might listen.

Can you show me one serious peer reviewed article confirming this? One article not paid by big pharma, and not an article just published by mainstream media without scientific reference?

You could take your pick of the following. Links to the published studies, with extracts of the findings.

In 13 U.S. jurisdictions, rates of COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths were substantially higher in persons not fully vaccinated compared with those in fully vaccinated persons, similar to findings in other reports.

And these were just a few of the studies I found with only a cursory Google search. There were a whole bunch more.

You both confused

This ain't vaccines but mRNA injections.

Vaccines stop infections in first place.

No, they don't. A vaccine is a medical product that exposes the body's immune system to an antigen from a disease-causing pathogen, provoking a protective immune response.

That's it.

No vaccine is 100% effective in preventing all infections. The best any of them manage is about 95% (most childhood vaccinations, for instance) but many are much lower than that.

The yearly flu vaccines that many older people get for instance, are only about 30-60% effective in preventing infection.

Quote

In general, a vaccine effectiveness of ~30-60% has been estimated for the three different influenza A (H1N1, H3N2) and B strains.

Influenza vaccine effectiveness

This doesn't mean that flu vaccines are not vaccines - they are (the clue is in the name).

Well, if there is any truth about what he said/did, please note the following.

Anutin had two vaccinations and not less than four boosters just to come down with Covid-19. The last booster, by media dissemination, was administered to him without him wearing a mask.

Everything else is up to you, what you believe and what you consider true/false and whatever is good for you, your health and the pharmaceutical industry!

You were asked for studies with no financial ties to the pharmaceutical industry and you quote the CDC and The Lancet? ????

Anutin - we are done with vaccines - we are done with masks we are done with covid ................there is no "New Normal"

MOVE ON

Speak for yourself. Anyone with a grain of common sense will get their next booster and carry on wearing a mask. Those in denial of reality could look at the UK for how not to behave

Sounding a bit like a lemming. There is a lot of evidence of high percentages of false positives, evidence of labs being incentivised to return positive results, evidence of hospitals being incentivised to diagnose cover even when its something totally different, and evidence of death and permanent ill effects from these vaccines. Always follow the money. Before you start calling other people ignorant please go and do some research and present FACTS. And that does not mean quoting CNN or MSNBC.

There is no evidence for incentivizing to diagnose covid or evidence of death or permanent ill effects from vaccines. Follow the anti-vaxxers like this idiot to the grave. His "research" will put you 10 feet under. Death rates among Republicans (anti-vaxxers) were 10 times higher in the US. There are NO LEGITIMATE FACTS that prove that vaccines are anything but life savers. Thank Buddha we have the vaccines, our only weapon in a pandemic thats killed Six million worldwide. Jeesh...facts. Only what you hear on Fox right? Pathetic.
