Can go 7 Eleven, mobile network shops or Lazada, Shopee, up to you, all offer good deals, depends what you're looking for, maybe post more detail

Depends entirely on what do you want to use it for and how long are you here for?

It also depends on where you are.

In some remote areas DTAC doesn't work and AIS is the only available option.

And in other areas it might be the other way around - I don't know.

Just keep in mind that in real life they might be bigger differences than you expect.

You dont even need a store, if you have a newish phone. DTAC and every other carrier have ESIMs you can buy with links to store directly in the dtac link below

Its certainly too good to be true if you can't get a decent signal.  In my case I was finding with AIS that I was get fluctuating signal levels that meant frequent drop-outs - no good when streaming movies etc.

You need to experiment with the different providers.

What about driving in car? Could it be used for Google maps or watching a youtube?

Can I really get a sim card for 1500 Baht/year with unlimited internet and unlimited calls within network? It seems too good to be true? Am I missing something?

Do I need to reply? Did I post an unlimited option for 1500 baht? I did not. ????

Unlimited options were at 1400, 1700 & 1800. The AIS option is not unlimited; though likely more than good enough for GPS.

For home use, if you want AIS, you can get unlimited data and unlimited any network calls from 150 baht per 30 days.

All networks offer similarly.

Of course.

Unlimited speed AND unlimited volume for such price? No.

Unlimited volume and a throttled speed like 10 to 30 Mbit/s? Yes.

Unlimited calls within network? Don't know.

I have 60 min/month to all networks

AIS usually has a volume limit at such prices like 100 GB/month.

Three operators and plenty of options at less than 2000 per year.

A slow internet,

which struggles a bit with a site like Aseannow but it's OK for many others for me.

Is AIS's offer of 30-day at speed 10mb and unlimited for 1100 B very good?

https://m.ais.co.th/10Mbps30Dais?httpRedirect=0&httpRedirect=0&controller=userInteraction

It's very good for AIS; not so good for when it comes to value for money.

You can get the same and better from them for 200 baht for 30 days. Unlimited 15 Mbps with any new AIS SIM.

This thread is very informative but

If I want a sim card I go to the mall where all the service  providers have shops and helpful staff.

I have true sim for phone with Internet option but my main Internet is provided by 3BB.

After some research I found this one, unlimited internet for 1 year for 1800 Bath. Can somebody beat this offer, in terms of unlimited internet for a year?
