Yes. Since I don't know from where members are posting, little point in me directing them to a place far away from them. Grab yourself a relative bargain ????

Easy solution don't buy cheese or butter, i stopped years ago, unhealthy anyway

  • That is certainly related to butter; Butter oil, Skimmed milk powder, iodized salt.  The cheap stuff is usually compound butter or a butter 'blend'.

  • Actually the Mainland Vintage cheese is matured for 24 months and has that crumbly texture that you only get with a well matured cheddar. I'm originally from the UK and I would thoroughly recomme

Made a butter run today.  Actually a 'special' trip for, along with lite munch tester.  Lite munch was so so, won't return.

Butter, usual get during to/from Krung Thep as along the Hwy #4.

Butter - 5kgs @ ฿1150 from a bakery supply shop, @ Sam Roi Yot

Almost a bargain, if not adding the round about day out.

Petrol ฿490, although without the scenic route, only 100kms

Petrol ฿300

How's it compare to others for taste, haven't a clue.

Taste great on bread or toast, so works just fine.

Butter actually made from fresh double cream, as opposed to a mix of ingredients that resembles butter.

No it isn't.

That is the method to use in very small batches, if you don't have the equipment required to separate the curds and whey from whole milk. It is certainly not how butter that is bought in supermarkets, which is what this thread us about, is made. Which is what your post suggests.

Doesn't make the slightest bit of difference to any of my statements.

You should have said " butter can be made from double cream". You would then have been correct.

Nope. I am correct anyway.
