Sending a motobike by post

Featured Replies

Hello,

next year I would like to travel south of Thailand, 2 months, with my scooter ( Yamaha Nmax 155, comfortable )

, starting from Surat Thani ; I live in Prachinburi province, and from my home to Surat is too far

I think to send it by post office, I have heard it's possible ( and back, when I return home )

do you know how to do it ( just go to post office with motobike ? ) and how much does it cost ?

Thanks

I done it quite some years back---Pattaya to Udon Thani--- they really took good care of it, they take off the wing mirrors/take phone photos of any previous damage. Usually sent by rail. about 800 baht---but once again some years back.

Yea ... what he said.

Edit since no RR near OP

consider taking a few days and ride. stop many times. check lots of things out. could be a really great experience. or somchai could.....

i shipped a scooter years ago by train with no issues at all.

Yes, years ago. I remember the price was Ok. Great service.

Remove the gasoline in the tank before bringing it or leaving it at the Post Station.
