If he is a criminal why is he not under arrest and still free to travel where he wishes outside of Thailand?

1. Is Thaksin still relevant?

2. No worries about damaging the reputations of democracy, the PM office, or the judicial system here. It has already been utterly demolished by Cha Cha.

They're planning the next staged coup [in one form or another] as we speak.

Something to look forward to.

51 scholars and professors from leading university law schools confirm that on August 24, Prayut's 8 years as country leader will be over.

Only Prayut and his friends "feel" that it is not so. Thailand's already badly sabotaged "democracy" is once again at a crossroad.

After the military coup (according to the old constitution, the death penalty was actually intended for the putschists) there is now once again a legal coup (after a new constitution was just written that provides permanent impunity for putschists,  equipped the Senate with 250 unelected senators, uses permanent martial law and prohibits freedom of political assembly).

Thailand the hijacked country.

Just because it is written in the constitution doesn't mean very much.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitution_of_Thailand#:~:text=Siam (today known as Thailand,of absolute monarchy in 1932.&text=Charters have traditionally been temporary instruments%2C promulgated following military coups.

he Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand (Thai: รัฐธรรมนูญแห่งราชอาณาจักรไทย; RTGS: Ratthathammanun Haeng Ratcha-anachak Thai) provides the basis for the rule of law in Thailand. Since the abolition of the absolute monarchy in 1932, Thailand has had 20 charters or constitutions (as of 2015), an average of one roughly every four years.[1] Many changes followed military coups, reflecting the high degree of political instability in the country. After each successful coup, military regimes abrogated the existing constitution, generally without public consultation.

Constitutions can be amended, rewritten or simply torn up and a new one put in its place.

I personally assume, that Prayut will be the sacrificed lamb in order to keep all the others nicely on top of the sludge. Prawit is the puppet master as we know and Anutin is in the wings for a higher office after Thammanat goofed up badly due to his attitude problems.

Lets hope that I am right; possibly it needs proper riots and uprisings everywhere as this country is in free fall for the time being and all this on the expense of 98% of the population.

Take Prayut's recent brunt on the issue of electricity price increase where he challenged the Thai electorate to study the reasons and then accept the rise like orderly Buddhists would do. What a sick mind .....
