The Thai headline says, “Mac afraid of being killed.” Photo: Sanook TNR Staff A MAN who robbed an illegal fan-tan casino in Din Daeng area last night (August 24) phoned a popular television programme asking the Justice Ministry for mercy as he is now afraid of being killed, Sanook.com said. Only identified by his nickname Mac Anusawaree, he had called Hone-Krasae programme’s host Noom Kanchai and related that on the day of the robbery he had a problem with the casino’s guard about his car key which he had mortgaged there. This key had previously been damaged and held together with a rubber band and he had told the guard several times that he was afraid it would break and to keep it in a safe place. ezzra
What this Neanderthal was thinking? from an argument over his car's key kept there as a collateral for his losses, he ended up puling a BB gun threatening everybody in the place and garbing 270.000 baht and ran away, to be killed? no, but to be taught a lesson he dose deserves for for sure.... klauskunkel
I have read the Full Story. Critique: It has some entertainment value. The logic used to explain the sequence of events is... comically unique. I like the rubber band detail. He said on TV that the illegal casino operated for 2-3 years prompting scrutiny of Din Daeng's police corruption... He dug his hole a lot deeper. For a comedic crime drama with a Thai flavor I give it only a 2 out of 5 stars, because it didn't feature a Mom's House.
Aussieroaming
He should hand himself into the casino crims. They might take pity on him and just amputate his hands for stealing, then cut out his tongue for blagging them out.

aussienam
He'll be dead for sure. Casino hired hit men, plus possibly BIB involvement in illegal casinos too means that he won't even get protection from the law! And if imprisoned (casino won't be reporting crime, so only evidence would be him!) Only safe place would be to flee the country. And out of South East Asia. ChaiyaTH
Kind of stupid to rob a casino for that little, a gold shop would have made it worth while.

Iamfalang
I've seen this story before. Usually the guy is trapped in the casino and chased by about 100 thugs. Amazingly, the guy isn't hit, shoots all 100 in the head, and is able to escape unharmed. He's picked up at a secure location, and flown back to HQ and some lady who is super impressed. Once I saw a guy run up the walls of the casino, jump on the chandelier, take out 20 guys at once, and barely escape using a WW2 tunnel filled with explosives. \ I personally prefer when a guy gets the security code, mugs an employee, sneaks in, gets a billion dollar secret code for printing money, and saves the planet from total destruction. Good movies.
