Fridge Door Left Open Overnight - not working.

Featured Replies

Any ideas what to do?

I've unplugged the thing and going to leave it for a few hours and then try it again.

What do you mean by 'not working'? Is it not cold? Is there electricity coming in?

Check circuit breaker. Giving it a rest is a good idea as it probably overheated.

Not cooling.

It takes a while to cool after opening the door overnight.

Leave it close with electricity on for one day and see what happens

Is there any air blowing?  Is it one or two door?  Any cooling in freezer? As said actually getting cool from hot is very gradual and can take many hours.  Assume you are getting a light inside when plugged in.  You should be able to feel heat on outside of fridge sides or rear if compressor is running (as well as hear it).

It's a 2 door Panasonic.

Just plugged it in and hear the compressor at the back bottom.

Can't see any light.

I'll leave it a couple of hours unplugged then plug it back in and wait.

Thanks for reponses.
