Majority of Americans concerned about Biden’s mental health: new poll

A new survey shows that most Americans are worried about President Biden’s mental health following a fresh spate of public gaffes and awkward antics, leaving many to wonder if the 79-year-old should run for reelection two years from now.

 

According to the Issues & Insights/TIPP poll released Monday, 59% of respondents were “concerned” about the president’s mental health, with 36% saying they were “very concerned” and 23% “somewhat concerned.”

 

Just 39% said they were either “not very concerned” (18%) or “not concerned at all” (21%) about Biden’s faculties.

there are hundreds of clips of rambling and complete breakdown in his thought process. my favorite is when he tried to shake hands with thin air. dude....there was literally no one there. 

 

the man is clearly suffering diminishing capacity. anyone saying otherwise is either obtuse or being facetious.

 

the almost total media silence on the subject is quite telling.

Never ceases to amaze me how we have these septuagenarian leaders who are well past their prime (No offence to Joe & I wish him the best of health but he should be enjoying his remaining days not running the World's largest economy!). 

 

 

Same with "King" Charles in the UK, why wouldn't he just do the right thing & pass the baton on to Wills?

Are you saying the New York Post made up the poll? I'm not sure what point you are trying to make. More interesting is the question, why now? Why start to be honest now and cover what has been obvious for years? Is Biden not useful to the democrat party any more? Do they want to replace him in 2024?

 The New York Post deserve some kudos surely for being one of the only media outlets that did not join in the major misinformation campaign before the election when MSM, deepstate intelligence experts and big tech falsely and without evidence claimed the devastating and corroborated evidence against one candidates honesty/financial cleanliness was "russian disinformation". We owe the NYP a world of thanks for setting that false narrative straight, don't we. Credibility comes from getting stories factually correct not shilling for one side.

 Anyway, concern over the source aside, good to finally see Biden's cognitive mess get some airtime.

There is really no question about whether Joe Biden is in decline. It is more than just "he's lost a step', he has obvious cognitive impairment.  And I don't blame the Democrats for trying to keep him hidden from the public as much as possible. It was a good strategy during the 2020 presidential campaign.  Joe has had more time off and fewer press conferences than any president in recent memory. 

 

 

But the media being complicit is the real problem.  They have a responsibility to the public more than they do to their political preferences.

I understand the fascination with monarchies and respecting history and enjoying a crown and all that stuff over in the UKingdom .......it's not for me, but I understand some people go crazy for tradition and put tradition above all else.   

 

across the pond, we hate every president.  never can meet the standard of the American person.  fails many metrics, but passes enough to remain in office.   

 

I'd be surprised if I find ONE president I really like, even if I live to be 100.

 

if one person says Obama was good, the other says he did like 1 billion drone strikes.  can't win.

I’ll start to worry when I hear the President is taken by his staff for an unplanned visit to hospital in the middle of the night so he can be administered the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Test.

 

If he then starts boasting that the test was difficult, but he aced it anyway, I’ll really start to worry.

An article by The New York Post, a right wing, VERY anti Biden tabloid, featuring a poll by "Insights and Issues", another right wing media entity that gets funding from right wing US NGO's. Yep they're on the conservatize gravy train. I'm sure you can get find similar articles from FOX news, but most people understand what FOX is about, & what they dish out. so New York Post and Insights and Issues might gull  more people.

Do not live in America anymore, but feel Biden has better inherent knowledge of government and better advisors around him who he listens to than many other Presidents we have had.  He certainly has no intentions of becoming an autocrat ????

Recently, President Biden told a truck driver: “I used to drive a tractor-trailer.” 

 

We need an independent medical assessment of the president’s mental health. That is a sobering fact to face, but face it we must. And right now, we need a Democrat who will say so in public.

 

Time for biden to step down.
