5-6 month rental contract

Featured Replies

What are the chances of getting a 5-6 month lease accepted in Pattaya? Was thinking of The Base condo or View Talay 6. If not really possible, is AirBNB the best option?

Easy to get that, but you'll pay more for shorter contacts, look on Facebook marketplace or Pattaya property groups

Is ik Ok if I have sex?

6 months, no problem.  5 months, you may have to negotiate.

6 months is the preferred minimum rental period at the larger developments.

Centric Sea are apparently quite strictly opposed to short-term stays, the Base less so.

Yes, 5 or 6 months is easily available.

If the yearly contract rate is say 9,000 per month, expect to pay about 1,000 more for the shorter contract.

I used a company called Ace Dream on Facebook Marketplace, run by a sweet old lady named Joy, she even personally made sure that the place was spotlessly cleaned, and all necessary repairs/renovations that I wanted were taken care of just before I moved in!

Highly recommended!

Pre Covid, the entrance to the Base was like Piccadilly Circus with mainly Chinese guests checking in and out. Not so at Centric Sea.

I also know and have known some residents at Centric Sea who are pleased that where they live is not like the Base is.

As your Agoda link proves, short term renting is not completely eradicated but there is a clear difference between the 2 locations.
