Australian Dollar is collapsing

I'm a bit mixed on that. I do like the feeling of freedom in street life if you like .. less rules .. more fun. But never feel impeded myself otherwise except more chance of a ticket on the roads which is a good thing .. though some speed limits like 40 km an hour are over the top. Feel more free to express myself here .. and feel things are a fairer and freer if things go wrong..

Well, Australia does have a more "proper" judicial system, but you would only be in that system if you messed up in some way.  Such a mess up could be "tea money" in Thailand, whereas it could be community service or more in Australia.

Not sure what you mean about more freedom to express yourself.  I don't feel the laws of Thailand impede my ability to express myself.  Sure, they have strict laws discussing the monarchy and criticizing the government, but he's not my King, and I am not a Thai citizen, so can not vote, so I don't care what they do.  Never have.

If 40Kmph concerns you, what about 30Kmph?

"A bill is currently before parliament that would reduce the limit in residential streets from 50km/h to 30."

Australia passes legislation to cater for the lowest intelligence within the community. and the majority of Australians lose more and more freedom because of it.

Wow, I see you’re running with the big issues today…

You are wrong, I lived in LOS for several years, but since I didn't like Thai food, I had to buy Farang food, which cost me an arm and a leg. Being old, I don't eat a lot, so my food bill is not more than 120 AUD per fortnight. Water is included in the rent, and electricity is just about 120 AUD per fortnight. We don't live in the East, we live in Perth, near the city, and my wife is still taking a course at TAFE, she will be making about 80 to 90ooo AUD per year, so why move back?

If you're paying $120 / fortnight for electricity you're either being ripped off, someone else is tapped into your power supply or you're running half a dozen a/c units 24/7.

I thought it was steep as well.

Perhaps the member should review the available electricity retailers for their prices.

What has that got do with it, $120 a fortnight is nonsense.
