CHINESE leader Xi Jinping has accepted an invitation to give a keynote speech at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) CEO Summit 2022 which is being held in parallel to the 29th Apec Summit taking place during Nov. 16-18, INN News said today (Nov. 1).

Mr. Poj Aramwattananon, chairman of the Apec CEO Summit 2022, said the Chinese leader will outline his vision as will global corporate leaders from all economic regions share their viewpoint.

This is a good opportunity for the private sector and the general public to listen to their views.

With the global economy facing challenges on all sides, such as food shortage, energy crisis and inflation, as the world starts recovering from the setbacks brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, the private sector is on high alert with the CEO Summit providing a good venue for them to determine the economic direction.

We oppress our minority populations.

We barely allow any imports and make it difficult for companies to sell their products in China.

We ignore territorial boundaries and claim ownership of the South China Sea.

We are nearly the only nation to subscribe to a zero covid policy, even if it means putting millions out of work.

I have just been appointment PM for life. Or, close to it.

Impressive, huh? Want to be like us?

You jest not.

As his speech will say:

"I have come here today to inform Thailand that land can only be sold to the Chinese and not the dirty foreign expats or retirees from the west, Xi Jinping said as he opened his speech.  He then continued by thanking Thailand and PM Prayut Chan Ocha for believing in the Zero Covid policy and buying the Chinese Sinovac Vaccine which is superior to all other vaccines".

December 23, 2014: " ... Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha paid a courtesy call on President Xi Jinping ... "

But the Thai Constitutional Court recently ruled that Prayut wasn't at that time officially PM.

So in this recent meeting I wonder if Xi asked Prayut, 'Are you a PM yet? I've was and still am President of China. And all Chinese know that."

Xi is soon to come to Bangkok and give speech during APEC Thailand 2022.

But is that a big deal ?  Well may be a good gesture to Thailand,   I don't think USA and western world would have much concerned about what Xi would do in Thailand.

If Xi is to accept an invitation and visit Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,  then USA would be very curious on what is to happen when Xi meets the Crown Prince.

BTW  Saudi is getting very friendly with Thai now as Thailand Prime Minister was the first in picking up the signal and trend that Saudi is going to turn East and say  "NO"  to USA Biden who  fails to catch up to what is happening.

To USA,  Saudi is far more important than Thailand who is not a major player.

As the army leadership

is completely devoid of morality, and ethics and seems to be motivated only by money, in addition to not caring about the masses one iota, they relate to the Chinese, like two peas in a pod.

This is a historic mistake. They should be treating the Chinese leadership with fear and trepidation. Their intentions are foul.

Thailand is a strategic location for any one with an interest in the entire Asian continent as it is central to everywhere, why do you think Suvarnabhumi is a major international hub.  The US and west will never let Thailand slip away completely, and Thailand is always playing both ends to the middle.

Thailand of course stays neutral officially.  Yet do you know deep down which side the Thailand PM and Thai government is leaning ?

As to strategic locations in this region,  Vietnam is at least as crucial as Thailand while Vietnam border the sea close to Taiwan Formosa island.  Vietnam officials are stating Vietnam is neutral too and NOT bother picking USA or China either.

But two days ago Vietnam Communist Party First Secretary is having tea party and State Dinner in Beijing.   So can USA prevent and stop Vietnam slipping away ?

ASEAN view about this geopolitics issue can be broadly summarized as

USA keeps talking  ;  China keeps doing ( and improving too )

As a joke,  if USA Biden wants Thailand so badly,  Biden should have ordered his grandchildren to plan the wedding in Koh Samui, Thailand rather than in the White House so Biden can attend both APEC 2022 and the wedding on same day.

There was a time in Thailand when communist China was regarded with the utmost suspicion. Now it:s a non-stop kow-tow. Very sad.

Much of entire world had fear about communist and communism for decades,  say  from World War to at least early 1990's, while USSR suddenly crushed.

But even Trump crossed the line in Korea DMZ and chatted with Fatty Kim on the North Korea land in 2019,   and both Obama and Trump had landed at Hanoi,  Vietnam years

ago.

Quoting  "Communist China" is very, very outdated and even old-schooled Biden had not talked that way any longer

Yes. And Xi likely added if they question my status as the legitimate leader of China, we harvest their organs. It is an easy solution to silence your opponents.

Denying China, Cuba, and North Korea are communist is like saying AOC is a moderate. One can argue all day long about what it means and why most communist states have failed. But, allowing them to pose as anything other than communist is unproductive and disengenuous. China may appear to be semi democratic as it relates to their economy. That is where it ends.
